Welcome! The Connection seeks to connect Detroit Young Adults with opportunities to worship, share their faith with each other, provide service and outreach, socializing, catechesis, and leadership development.
Use this site as a tool to get you connected with other young adults in this area. There are many parishes that have young adult groups, find one near you and get involved. Check out the calendar of upcoming events. There are a variety of activities going on including masses, social events, retreats, and service opportunities; all in Detroit! Not only will you have a lot of fun, you will be deepening your faith at the same time.

It's Mass, you know what happens. If we believe that Christ is really and truly present in the Eucharist, then it is not going to matter that the singing is bad or the sermon is boring. What will matter above all is that we receive communion. There is no greater privilege than that of being able to participate at an ordinary Mass and receive the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Such a privilege only adds to the debt we already owe to God, and since an element of our own happiness is the feeling of having a debt that cannot be paid, the more we grow to love the Mass and hunger for the Eucharist, the happier we will become.
